Summer Trainee Receiving Inspection Engineer (Quality Dept.)
General Motors Egypt
•
June 2011 - July 2011
I've been working in the Quality Department for one month on summer intern ship offered from General Motors Egypt. My task was setting a receiving inspection plan for the local supplied parts in the pick up truck (Cheverolet El-Dababa). My receiving inspection plan depended on different factors: The severity of each part and how it affects the safety of the vehicle, PPM (the Part Per Million errors history for each part), AQL (Acceptable Quality Level), Destructibility and type of inspection test for each part (destructive or non-destructive test), CAD data for each part. At the end of my program in could complete my task by 100% and the company extended my program for 1 week to start a new receiving inspection plan for Trucks (Cheverolet Jumbo N-Series).
