January 2019 - August 2020
While working at Jefferson Lab the primary job as a Mechanical Technician was to observe and maintain vacuum systems, auxiliary machinery, cryogenic plants, and related mechanical machinery to said plants. Along with diagnosing and repairing the mechanical problems that were presented in the cryogenic plants.
Along with, coordinating work and manage schedules and tasks to complete assigned technical projects. Installing different compressor models and align the drive shafts on said compressors to the electrical motors with precise measuring equipment. Using mechanical drawings and piping system drawings (P&IDs) to diagnose mechanical and vacuum issues in the systems. Assist department designers/drafters with identifying inaccuracies in P&IDs using AutoCAD and other computer-aided systems. Reporting technical issues that were found to Plant Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the cryogenic plants.

October 2015 - November 2017
Handled routine readings and recorded pressures, temperatures, and other various information to ensure safe and efficient operations of equipment while underway and during long shifts. Along with assisting supervisors with internal engine repairs, electrical maintenance, and HVAC systems on the logistics support vessel. Used old technical manuals and P&IDs to research mechanical and electrical problems to find repairable solutions. Also, I instructed new employees out of schooling quarterly on the regular operation of the vessel to further educate them on their engineering knowledge. Conducted Joint Training Operation in Washington, Tacoma, with a 100% objective success.
