I've been taking CAD classes here-and-there part-time as I worked self-employed in the construction trades for many years. In the spring of 2013, I won a scholarship for a full-time college credit based certificate in Precision Machining Technology. As a result of going back to school full-time, I got the academic bug and have decided to continue on full-time to attain my AAS in Mechanical Design, Precision Machining Technologies and Pre-Engineering . Then, at which time, I hope to be working 3/4 to full-time in a shop that challenges my skill sets and attend classes part-time to acquire my bachelor's degree in physics, material sciences, or manufacturing engineering.
