For Inventor user, How to trim solid face?

HI Ady I hope you are fine...
It is really odd as I tried to split it a couple of times but I failed...
So normally what I am doing is trying to be more precise on my planes regarding the Sweep. You can also use a parallel way instead of split it, why not to cut it with a revolve random idea...
How ever I have attached your file modified according to...
The way I did it was to
1.Create a shell (offset) on the inside face,
2.Patch the bottom & top face...
3.Stitch it you should have now a new body
All the above took place above the Sweep on you model...
4.Then as a last command to trim it after all the features fillets etc. you can use the "Join" (to trim what is inside the mug...)
P.S. If something doesn't work it should be always an alternative way to do it...
But still it is frustrated when this happening I know... ;P
