how can i use stl file in solid works ?

If you have dloaded a STL file, then when you open it you should be given a choice to heal any gaps in the surfaces created, then you want to run feature recognition if you desire to make a solidworks part out of it. Check some Youtube videos by searching "Soliidworks feature recognition".
