how to create a "Cut" in the shape of an existing Helix?
i have a helix which needs to go inside a different part, so i need that part to have a hole in the shape of that helix. can you do that in soildworks?

If you copy the helix body into the part file you want to cut, then merge the bodies removing the area that the two bodies overlap. If you provide your files, I could make you a step-by-step tutorial.
