I'm working on a wireframe surface design, i want to create a cavity on the surface, after thickening the surface i tried to create a pocket(cavity), but the result was only achieved in the thickened area and not on the wire frame, any help?

Pocket is not applicable for surface designs, instead to make surface hole:
1. Create a circle of desired size
2. With the help of split you can able to create hole on surface. Please check youtube videos regarding split
(OR)
1. With the solid part, go to surface design then choose offset, then enter the value as zero to get the same surface as of solid part.
