is learning cfd and fem very essential to make a basic analysis in solidworks simulation?
just checking out various options for my engg. project!

I prefer to learn solidworks simulation before learning Ansys or Fluent or other software because the analysis carried out in solid work is very easy ans less time consuming and applying loads and boundary conditions are also quite easy, you will get an idea on descritation( meshing) what is elements and nodes and how to interpret the results etc
