how can i import models from site in solidworks and change them?

If you download the correct file format you can simple double click the file and open it with SW.
If you have an older version of the software and download a newer model you may not be able to open it. In this case, you will need to download the STEP file (if it is provided)
The STEP file can drag and drop into the SW screen to open, or you can navigate to it via File-Open- *All file types*
its useful.but icant find my favorite files format.can i convert them?
