What is the meaning of polygon and vertices in 3D Models and how to find value of them?
While upload a CAD model of mine in a website, there is a option in which it's required to enter the value of polygon and vertices of my CAD file. I don't have any idea about them.

Are polygons always planar?
I've always thought of a polygon as the perimeter (a series of connected lines/curves) that identify an area (face), but this question makes me wonder if the polygon is the shape?

A point is called as an vertices in three-dimensional space. Two vertices connected by a straight line become an edge. Three vertices, connected to each other by three edges, define a triangle, which is the simplest polygon.
