What would be some basic models or beginner models that would be a good starting point?

I'd like to start tinkering with surfaces and learn that aspect of the software. Besides heading back to school.

I've been working with Solidworks for a few yaers now, mostly sheetmetal. I'd like to get into the surfacing. any help would be appreciated.

Simple model like water bottle, utensils, pots will be nice for making a good start in surface modeling. But if you want to make a big start than you can follow the Audi tutorial on Youtube.

i started with Rims in Cinema 4D :) to understand what the different features can do...
