As an engineering staff at PT BARATA INDONESIA (PERSERO), my role is multifaceted, involving a range of responsibilities related to the design, development, and implementation of equipment and machinery for various industrial applications.
One of my primary responsibilities involves preparing documentation for tender, which includes developing detailed designs and specifications for equipment such as API 650 storage tanks, sugar cane factories, and rice mill plants. This requires a thorough understanding of engineering principles, as well as an ability to collaborate with other team members to ensure that the final product meets the client's specific requirements.
In addition to preparing tender documents, I also play a key role in problem-solving and troubleshooting issues that arise during equipment installation and commissioning in site projects. To this end, I use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS software to model and simulate the behavior of equipment under different operating conditions, and to identify potential areas of concern before they can cause problems in the field.
Finally, I also contribute to the development of new product equipment, utilizing my expertise in engineering design and principles to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This requires a strong understanding of market trends, as well as the ability to collaborate with other team members in areas such as research and development, product testing, and quality control.

As an engineering staff for an agricultural rice mill plant, my main responsibilities involve preparing detailed drawings of equipment and machinery used in the plant. In addition to this, I am also responsible for troubleshooting and problem-solving any issues that arise during the installation and commissioning of the equipment in site projects. As a design product engineer with experience designing paddy harvesters and hand tractors at CV Karya Hidup Sentosa, I have developed a range of skills that make me an effective mechanical designer.
My experience designing paddy harvesters and hand tractors has given me a deep understanding of the principles of agricultural engineering. I am able to design equipment that is optimized for the unique needs of farmers, taking into account factors such as soil conditions, crop yield, and ease of use.
In addition to my expertise in agricultural engineering, I am also skilled in using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. With these tools, I am able to create 3D models and detailed drawings of mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring that designs are accurate, efficient, and easy to manufacture.
As an engineering change request (ECR) staff member, I am also familiar with the process of making modifications to existing designs. I am able to review designs, identify areas of potential improvement, and suggest changes that will optimize performance, reduce costs, or improve safety.
One of my key strengths as a mechanical designer is my attention to detail. I am able to carefully review designs, identify potential problems or areas for improvement, and make adjustments as needed. By taking a methodical and thorough approach to design, I am able to create products that are not only efficient and reliable, but also meet the needs of end-users.
Another important skill that I bring to the table as a mechanical designer is my ability to work effectively in a team environment.
