Have you ever wondered what are the different Dimensional Standards we can use in SolidWorks? I never did. Honestly, I still don't know the type of dimensional standard it is using.
After doing some study on it, I found that we can use 7 different types. hmm, interesting what are they?

I think we are using ANSI always. What the hell is that?
Well, it's an organization that is defining rules for drawing (I guess).
ANSI (Definition from wiki): The American National Standards Institute is a private non-profit organization that oversees the development of voluntary consensus standards for products, services, processes, systems, and personnel in the United States
Other Standards:
ISO: ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an independent, non-governmental, international organization that develops standards to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of products, services, and systems
DIN:DIN stands for "Deutsches Institut für Normung", meaning "German institute for standardisation"
JIS: Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) are the standards used for industrial activities in Japan
BSI: Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the national Standards Body of India engaged in the preparation and implementation of standards, operation of certification schemes both for products and systems, organization and management of testing laboratories, creating consumer awareness, and maintaining close liaison with international standards bodies.
GOST: GOST refers to a set of technical standards maintained by the Euro-Asian Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (EASC), a regional standards organization operating under the auspices of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
