How to Change Your Update Settings in GrabCAD Print
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to change the Update Settings in GrabCAD Print so you can update to the latest version of GrabCAD Print at your convenience.

Step 1: Change Update Settings
We are constantly improving our GrabCAD Print software to support the amazing capabilities of our Stratasys 3D printers. However, we do not want our monthly updates to interfere with your 3D printing workflow.
To change the Update Settings in GrabCAD Print:
- Navigate to File in the top menu
- Select Preferences at the bottom
- Select Updates
By default, GrabCAD Print will automatically update when you start the program. But if you would like to manually update so you can control when the update takes place, simply uncheck the box and click Save.

Step 2: Manually Check for Updates
Once you’ve changed your update schedule to manual, it’s important to know how to check for updates so you don’t miss the latest features and improved workflow.
- Navigate to Help in the top menu
- Select Check for Updates
The next message box will tell you if you have the latest version of GrabCAD Print or if you need to update.
*Note: You don't have to upgrade to every release to keep your Stratasys printers running; however, if you want to see what features have been added in each release, check here: GrabCAD Print Release Notes
