how to create a helical gear

This the tutorial.

1. Step 1:

   make a sketch with desired dimensions
   

   

2. Step 2:

   extrude
   

   

3. Step 3:

   Make another sketch which represents the cutout profile.
   

   

4. Step 4:

   Extrude cut.
   

   

5. Step 5:

   Pattern this cut. Depends on how many teeth you want.
   

   

6. Step 6:

   Use the flex feature and check twist. Make sure your plains are on the faces of your gear. Than twist the red plain to an angle that you desire or write it down.
   

   

7. Step 7:

   You get the helical gear. :)
