How to model a face cam (or) drum cam? pl's post a step by step tutorial

Try this. Request : Drum cam .
Steps are here.

1. Step 1:

   1. Draw 150mm dia circle on top plane.
   

   

2. Step 2:

   2. Extrude it to 100mm.
   

   

3. Step 3:

   3. Create a reference plane, tangent to the cylinder surface and parallel to the front plane.

   

4. Step 4:

   4. Start a sketch on the new plane. Draw a horizontal construction line with a length of "100Xpi".
   

   

5. Step 5:

   5.Draw the sketch shown, using Lines and Tangent arcs.
