Introduction to Dynamic Simulation [Part 2] CATIA 3DExperience

Hello everyone :)

Here is our second part of our Introduction to Dynamic Simulation on CATIA 3DExperience R2020x.

This time, we will talk about the second parameter of contact restitution coefficient. This paramter allows the different part to bounce when there is a collision.

Like in the first Part, you will create a mechanism verify the weight and create contacts between component. Then you will create a dynamic scenario in Mechanical Systems Experience. You will be able to create a gravity excitation and compute the dynamic simulation.

The case of the simulation is a ball falling on trampolines. You can play with the restitution coefficient of the trampolines to obtain different results in the dynamic simulation like high bounce or no bounce at all. The goal is to put the ball in the bowl :)

Enjoy and remember to stay home!

Hope this video will be helpful for you to learn more about 3DExperience :D
