In this tutorial, we are going to design a chain sprocket.
And also we are going through calculations for designing sprocket tooth.

1. Step 1:

   

   
   

   In above calculation:

   type of gear i.e 08B is selected and that is depends on power transmission required.

   We have just selected to work on 08B

   Number of teeth depends on RPM transmission required from driver end to driven end.

   Rest all other calculations to be done using formulas.

   For ref you can refer book of Machine Design by R S Khurmi.

2. Step 2:

   Now after completing the calculation lets start to design the sprocket in CREO.

3. Step 3:

   In above video hub designing depends on use requirement so you can do that as per your requirement.

   
   

   After watching video you can make a sprocket of your size as required.
