Contact stress analysis of spur gears. There are two methods for analyzing the stress generated in meshing gear teeth through finite element analysis. The first is to apply the concentrated load at the load position directly. Then, the bending stress of the gear can be calculated.

Step 1: Initially the spur gear was designed on solidworks 2014. Which You will see on the video.

Step 2: Then the file was saved as .igs file for importing as geometry model to the ansys.Then you can follow the tutorial video for boundary conditions & physics which are applied in ansys simulation.
