Time Saving Tricks Using Sketches Pt. 5
Convert Entities: One of the best time-saving tools in SOLIDWORKS, in fact, it’s said to be TriMech Application Engineer’s favorite. By converting entities, you can quickly create copies of model geometry in the current sketch ultimately saving you time. This tool can even be used for things like model edges or entire faces.

Step 1: Create a Reference Plane.

Step 2: Grab the holes, which will illustrate the geometry the sketch plane

Step 3: Create a basic extrude which results in the same extrude on the other side.
