Tutorial how to engrave a word on a complex surface?

Below i have added pictures of the exact steps you have to do...

1. Step 1:

   First of all we choose a plane...
   

   

2. Step 2:

   Then we create a sphere... (the sphere is created as an example in this tutorial. It can be any surface on any part. Steps are the same)
   

   

3. Step 3:

   Next we create an offset surface from the sphere outer surface. (notice the offset distance cause we are gonna need it to calculate the depth of the engravement)
   

   

4. Step 4:

   Next we create an offset plane, to add a word (this step is optional. I created another plane in order to get better pictures)
   

   

5. Step 5:

   Then we create a text...
   

   

6. Step 6:

   ... and we split-line it on the offset surface we have created. (note. it would be better to hide the solid body while split-line because you may select the surface of the solid body and that is an issue)
   

   

7. Step 7:

   After the split-line, we delete all outer surfaces, except of the text we want to engrave.
   

   

8. Step 8:

   We thicken all letter-surfaces WITHOUT merging result!
   

   

9. Step 9:

   After the previous step, we have 5 solid bodies in our part. We may add them all together, with combine feature...
   

   

10. Step 10:

    Like this...
    

    

11. Step 11:

    Or we can substract the solid letters, from our main body (sphere) and create a deboss feature...
    

    

12. Step 12:

    Like this...
