Tutorial how to model a propelling pencil (30)

ASSEMBLY

1. Step 1:

   open a new assembly file
   

   

2. Step 2:

   click on insert new parts--browse
   

   

3. Step 3:

   select part 1
   

   

4. Step 4:

   part 1 ( I hope you named the files as I said. if not, found the parts that you see below and insert them:)
   

   

5. Step 5:

   insert part 2
   

   

6. Step 6:

   click on shown blue surface then click on matte button
   

   

7. Step 7:

   matte command is activated now as you see
   

   

8. Step 8:

   click on shown surface of part 1. they will be concentric automaticly
   

   

9. Step 9:

   now click on shown button. because part 2 is reverse
   

   

10. Step 10:

    confirm that
    

    

11. Step 11:

    now move the part by dragging
    

    

12. Step 12:

    select the surface
    

    

13. Step 13:

    then select this surface
    

    

14. Step 14:

    confirm that..
    

    

15. Step 15:

    insert part 3
    

    

16. Step 16:

    just drop it
    

    

17. Step 17:

    insert part 4
    

    

18. Step 18:

    click on the shown surface and use matte command
    

    

19. Step 19:

    then click on that surface and confirm it
    

    

20. Step 20:

    select the surface. ( don't close mate command )
    

    

21. Step 21:

    select other shown surface and ok
