Hi guys, I'm trying to build a big 3D printer (1.5 * 1.5 * 1 m ) as i have a project coming up that is quite big and i need it printed as a whole. I had a desktop 3D printer before and i'm quit familiar with the hassles and maintenance (although i have never build one) and i do appreciate all the help i can get , whether its articles or groups to follow or places to buy good parts for free.

You can get more help in this group that is dedicated exactly to this, making new technologies in 3D prnting.

Also look at the works of Ivan Miranda from Spain.

OMG, SO As per my concern this will be the big.


I heard 2 that was big, one was build in my past company called makein3d and that was 0.6 m x 0.6 m x 0.6 m, we made on this machine one prototype for ISRO. Another one i heard in Linkedin that he also build similar size.


In Makein3D I did design and simulation was by my colleage.
