No software "saves time"...

The model's complexity is what increases the time.

As for the software itself, it all depends on the presence of certain features that ease modelling, therefore save time.

Those features are what you should seek. Otherwise, you'll end up with an amazing software full of time-saving features - to some extent - you don't need...

Saves not much time (just a little bit ;) )

Some software like GrabCAD print allows you to optimize the orientation of the part or the infill pattern.

This can lead to time and material savings.

Example: a solid fill model will weight more and take more time to print than a simple hex fill part or sparse filled part.

You will need to take those characteristics into consideration when designing your part though. If you need strength then sparse infill might not be the best choice.
