The best model you will make in surfacing is a wire frame model. The ends of the arcs, splines, of the outer edges of the surfaces should meet at a point that is the start or end of an adjoining spline or sketched line, arc. I will post an example soon in a tutorial. What would you like me to model as a demonstration?
