however in terms of emerging technologies, i think that these (3) are what are most important :

• electric motor design
• battery chemistries
• battery pack design
• power electronics

but i am going to also say that these emerging systems are going to differentiate optional features :

• self leveling suspension
• automatic ride (seat and pegs) height
• automatic bar height and width
• proximity sensors (RADAR)
• automatic braking
• speech navigation
• display panels
• software feature
• air bags (?)
