Electric Harley-Davidson Revival Concept to Appeal to Younger Generations

Industrial designer Tanner Van De Veer and DAAPworks delivered an  electric motorcycle concept that could solve Harley Davidson’s problems of appealing to the younger generations such as the Z-generations and later.

The idea was to go back to the original 1910 ~ 1920 styling that is cool again but refreshed with modern technologies that could also make it fit within price budgets.

The styling gives credence to many of the styling cues but also includes swappable batteries that makes extending ranges at end-points easy :

The design was started as part of an "initial concept study for a University thesis project for academic purposes, but is not actually affiliated with Harley-Davidson. It was purely a concept and has no plans for production" as told to me by Tanner.

However you want to look at it, it definitely bridges the gap between electric motorcycles and electric bicycles. Take a look an let me know what you think of this new-school / old-school design.
