It's been like this for at least a couple years now. This site is practically abandoned, with no ability for the actual community to run itself in the absence of some Stratasys authority.

It's indeed true that I believe there should be greater engagement, possibly through increased challenges. It could also be due to the availability of free models that people aren't showcasing their best design works. Perhaps introducing a system where some models are purchasable while others remain free could encourage everyone to upload models for sale, just a thought.
