Blocking and deleting alone are insufficient measures. Such actions constitute direct threats and may be subject to prosecution. Secure documentation and report the case to law enforcement authorities.

I second the proposition to immediately report every such case to authorities.

I further propose we submit to sufficient tracking data collection procedures as provides for immediate apprehension, because we make the job far more than it needs to be otherwise. After all, it is possible to apprehend and to shut these people down for good, immediately.

Having witnessed this kind of criminal ruin the net for far too long, I also propose that it's time to invoke sufficient rules as enable us to readily and immediately prosecute their ilk. Just for starters, a person can only participate in the web by their actual name and domain of operation. The same strictures must be imposed by ISPs; and the structure of the web must provide for universally banning abusers.

Otherwise, we make the web the easy playground and voice of evil.

Alright. So you've decided to make war; and your idea of war (once again) is to float derogatory names rather than address the issues, and their respective principles.

"Totalitarian" infers subordination of the individual and strict control by an autocratic state. Not one control was proposed. Neither is autocracy inferred by citizens advocating for no more than protecting their rights. Not only is no freedom impaired; the whole purpose of the proposition was instead to preserve our right to participate in the purposes for which sites like this are erected.

When the individual pleas for the protections which all free states exercise against abuse of their rights, that is the opposite of totalitarianism. Hans' last post reflects the futility most people feel, that any real or truly effective power of self determination has been permanently denied to us. But especially as no right would be impaired, anyone who would deny us the only protections at our disposal, is therefore the enemy of the only things that can protect us.

No one has proposed the least infringement upon the freedom to participate as the necessarily good citizen, here or anywhere else. Whether you know it or not, your IP is already tracked. And so, you are already traceable. Your IP is already an indispensable part of every dropped packet you fraudulently asserted to know beyond doubt the other day (speaking of bloviation).

It doesn't impair your liberties at all, if the threats Hans received are immediately posted to the ISP of the offender with such wherewithal as suspends their access. That person never came here to play by the rules. He never came here to participate in the one set of purposes for which a site like this exists.

You are merely advocating to preserve the means of crime, by opposing the only truly effective means at our disposal to protect ourselves from further incidents.

Whatever fancy obfuscation of terminology you imagine makes you a saint.

If you decide to go to legal authorities for this, you have our full support to provide you anything you need, including providing user's email, IP address etc to the authorities.

However, there is a potential problem with this: to which authority? I can tell the user's name and IP address seem to be from Vietnam, but I don't know if or how you can take a legal action against someone in Vietnam from the country you are, or if this is an action that could be prosecuted in Vietnam.

This is exactly what the CCP does in China, a totalitarian state.

Sounds like one of the losers that keeps popping up to spam stolen models or BS advertising... I guess he doesn't like getting outed for the scumbag he is.

From what I've come across, the bulk of these people don't even own computers. They post from 'internet cafes', and are often lucky if they have electricity in their overcrowded hovels... Sadly, this kind of behavior is endorsed by the local governments as legitimate sources of income.

Thanks for your advise, but for me this is going to far....OK!! I, my family and friends have been "threatened"..But sticks and stones....The idiot who did this was probably "playing" around, nothing else to do. Unfortunately he picked this website to do so....His account has been terminated, and for me it is done, over, book closed.......
