Oh, merciful God! You, sir, are simply a saint. A revolutionary, adventurer, philanthropist, and renowned engineer. How could I not recognize you immediately? I offer my insincere apologies for this misunderstanding!
You do realize most spam accounts are bots that are not programmed to open the mail. You're wasting your time with this "idea".

Hi. I just deleted these spam accounts.
GC prohibits posting "any email address" whether disposable or not, because it is a form of spam.

Lists an assembly as "trade down payment" and redirects you to "trace parts" to purchase the parts!
Re: the Traceparts user mentioned above. Anytime a model includes just the SLDASM with no SLDPRT files they have done that to bypass the requirement of CAD files for a model to be published. Solidworks users can sometimes view these files but there are no Cad models that can actually be used. The empty assembly is rendered by GrabCAD. Users of other CAD systems can’t even view these files. Half the models from this Traceparts user fall into this category. This is happening more and more often as unscrupulous users have learned this workaround.
GrabCAD should stop allowing a SLDASM file as a suitable solo prerequisite for publishing. It is totally insufficient.
In fact, at least in SolidWorks, there is another thing that threatens the usability of the models: the software version used. In my case, having SW2017, there are really very few SLDPRT and SLDASM files that I can use.
I also see "other ways to meet the GC requirement but with no real intention of sharing the model" and that is with the use of extensions like IGS, STL or others that store triangle meshes which are not really suitable for quick recycling in CAD.
Maybe a format like STEP or similar should be required to ensure access to parts and assemblies and, like optional, other formats (like SW native "of a certain version") that benefits people who count exactly with the same CAD platform or a higher one.
Versioning is always a problem. It is not practical for users to maintain and use an old copy of Solidworks for the sole purpose of providing old versions to GrabCAD. While providing a STEP file would be nice, I don’t think it should necessarily be a requirement. Since most users are more than willing to share a STEP file when asked. Though it certainly would add a level of convenience.
I'm more concerned about users that have taken specific steps to avoid sharing any CAD data. You won’t get anything from them even if you ask.
What GC must define is whether the "usability of uploaded models" is restricted only to visualization (and difficult editing, as in meshes) or refers to the possibility of actually sharing the geometries (for which it would be convenient to look for a format more universal).
If such things were "optional", it would still be nice if the GC system could tell them apart when looking in its model library:
* mesh only (it's quite restrictive)
* native solids of certain CAD and version (it is restrictive)
* solid STEP or similar (it is more universal)
Currently, most users who upload SW files do not indicate the version in their description, which requires you to download it and try to open it to see if you can use it (is it on purpose for adding downloads?)
Hi. Thanks for letting me know. (You can also sent a DM to me for automated-spam like this).
However, before I could take an action, they all seem to be auto-blocked by our system (with a delay).
