I prefer SolidWorks. Easy to use and many feature.

In the net, you can find any solid from valves and other usefull thinks.

Almost every CAD system can be used to design valves, filters, etc. I do not have any experience in P&ID design but I guess Solid Edge with the modular plant design extension might be what you need

I use SolidWorks, Inventor and Catia V5.

I use Fusion 360 as it is easy and has an simple user interface. I can teach u if u want to learn.

I recommend Catia, Inventor and SolidWorks. SolidWorks are very easy.

SolidWorks has piping. But for designing oil and gas refineries, they use Hysys, which is for this purpose.Be sure to search for this software.
