Looks good for sliding approaches. If you are also interested in translating in a straight line without any sliding, search GrabCAD for “linear linkage” and look for my name. I have a number of examples there.

yeah i've seen that mechanism before. it looks like it adopts roberts' and chebyshev linkage.
