Yacht Dock Design for rough and variable elevation fresh water lake
Has anyone designed, or seen an effective engineered yacht dock designs for rough water and variable water elevation? Traditional floating docks are mostly used but seem like there has to be a better solution? See attached for detailed description of the problem....thank you!

Thanks Thomas, will try to post a pdf. Not sure I follow exactly what you mean by 'float volume change' - isn't the float volume fixed by the amount of floatation on the dock?
