Radio Frequency (RF) & Wireless Design

Being part of Amateur Radio allows not just experimentation with RF electronics and more recently I have shown how the Raspberry Pi can be used for many projects with Hat boards, but another missing piece that is important is on the software side of things.


Since Linux is the chief operating system of choice for the Raspberry Pi and since there is much open source software code that is available, there are groups that have discussions on how to get the software and the hardware to play nice together.


There is a local group that is doing this as part of a weekly 'net' that encourages experimentation and provides help for the users. One of the net controllers KC7NYR and his page has many links for reference :
