I just uploaded a model for the Nordic Semiconductor Thingy:91 Multi-sensor Cellular IoT Prototyping Platform which addresses the low cost embedded IoT sensor marketplace in the same way that the Arduino addresses the low cost embedded MCU marketplace and the Raspberry Pi addresses the low cost embedded CPU marketplace. This one uses the latest nRF52840 Bluetooth 5 SoC that is Thread capable.

This uses the cellular bands and is the next step in IoT from proprietary or ISM band limited. Note that there will be a cellular SIM card that is inserted, but that there data exchange is up to your project requirements.
