What is the best boundary conditions for water tank? and why?

It depends to your project. The boundary conditions can be inlet, outlet, wall and interface of fluid-fluid or fluid-solid. The projects are different.

Boundary conditions:

Inlet

Outlet

Wall

Reason:

To give the direction for fluid to flow from inlet to outlet.
