Hi, Walter!
I'm Cesar, from Mexico. I practice long-range shooting and 3 gun as well, so I understand what you're talking about.
I'm not sure but I don't believe the technical drawings for any Glock product is gonna be available for download anywhere in the web, why? because the trademarks and so.
If you want to do the 3d Model, I have some stuff in mind that you might try if you want:
- Find a 3d model of any glock at the grabcad library. There are several parts and assemblies that you may find helpful, but I'm not sure they´re gonna be full assemblies with all the internal parts and so.
- As you're in the army, maybe you can ask (and maybe I'm wrong as I don't know how the things work there) to any officer, superior, personel, to help you by performing a full disassembly for cleaning and start modelling/sketching/taking photos/measuring/etc.
- Find the Glock Disassembly Mat. This (I think you know this) is a mat very useful to clean your glock and have in mind all the pieces needed. It has a very complete graphic of every glock part. It's not a technical drawing but maybe you'll find it helpful as it has an exploded view.
- Change the gun model. I think you'll find more 1911's than glocks.
- I've found this link https://forum.solidworks.com/thread/16348 maybe you want to take a look overthere and see if something helps.
Hope this help. Let us know if we can help you with something else.
Best regards and good look,
Cesar J.
