Parametric sinus function along the spiral. Very simple, but someone dont know.

X=(R+sin(A*t))cos(t)

Y=(R+sin(A*t))sin(t)

t = 1 to 2*Pi may be

Well you ca do it with the help of surface functions. just draw the 2 sketches as of RIGHT SIDE view and TOP side view and then pit some guidelines and then create surface. Then simply give thickness.

I just tried to make the wavy helical wire attached with ribs. I didn't get into more details and I think now you can complete your model with wavy helical wire.
