How to fill in the missing part of my modeling. Is it complicated with the smoothing function?

Hard to answer this just by looking at the picture, but I would try to cut out the section and replace it with one loft and then path the rest of the hole.
Also stuff like this you want to do with just surfacing and the thicken it, makes the geometry a lot more stable
