Selection of fitting for hose /tube

Hi Frds,

Please advice on how to choose suitable fitting for hose and tube in engine application.
generally, What are the stds using in hydraulic hose and tube.
Please share any hose/tube drawing for my interview preparation.

For hydraulic (Oil).

Exist: adapters for hose to thread:
NPT conical or not
BSP-BSPT or BSPP also conical or not
JIC Exist in several angles
SAE
Metric
