Extract/Exporting Point and/or Curves Coordinates XYZ to Excel

Hello,

I have several questions, hope you can help me.

I wonder if it is possible to extract point coordinates, say x,y,z data to excel?
How can I activate the excel-tab in the ribbon menu? Actually it is available but grayed out.
If extracting of points shouldn't be possible, is there any workaround like "scripting"?

v 2017 on wards have python built in, this might help

to activate excel, go to

Options, then add-ins, tick the excel box

You need to restart SC

I use excel in table driven geometry

The thing is, my facet model is huge, i only want more or less 50-100 points and their x,y,z at certain intersections to be exported...
