It sounds like you could measure the part which did print, then slice the CAD data, and start building a 2nd job.
You'll have two parts at the end, but those can be bonded together with a suitable bonding agent, or mechanical fasteners.
This was a common situation when working with stereolithography prints, and it should work well for other technologies like FDM, and Polyjet.
