can anyone model something like this using the sheet metal feature in solidworks???
i tried modeling this using the sheet metal feature, but just couldn't do it. ended up just making it with solid modeling.

I can get close. The trick is leaving enough of a flat zone where the curvature of the tabs inflects from the curvature of the main portion. This might go against your design intent however, so there might be a way to do it with forming tools, but if you want a flat pattern, this is a good way to do it.
