Can assembly constraints in SolidWorks be controlled by variables in Equations?

I have found that I can control an assembly constraint such as an angle between planar surfaces or distances between parallel surfaces with Equation Variables by using sketches in the individual parts and then using the sketches when applying the assembly constraints. The sketches then can be controlled with Equation variables. I thought by showing right-clicking on Annotations in the Design Tree and selecting Show Feature Dimensions, that I would be able to control assembly constraint dimensions using Equation Variables but I have not been able to see the assembly constraint dimensions using that approach. Any suggestions?

Under "Advanced Mates", you'll find "LimitAngle" and "LimitDistance".
They allow you to add a max and min value for the angle/distance between the 2 constraints.
