You could use free Virtual machine software, such as VirtualBox, to host a 32-bit operating system inside of Windows 7 64 BIT. and install 32 BIT Autocad on it

However, nearly all 32 bit software works just as well under Windows 7 x64.

thankyou CMED i,m not quite sure what the problem is , I just get the error message "cannot install this program on the current operating system"

I'm using that Longbow Converter tool... It specifically fixes that issue you mentioned "cannot install this program on the current operating system"

Here's the info on it... www.longbowsoftware.com/Converter.php

YES...!! A BIG YES. Now Look its simple no Compatibility software needed LOOK. Open where the AUTOCAD 2010 setup Folder CD, then Open Setup.ini (Configuration File with some GEAR LIKE).

On the middle you will see:
*************************************
PRIMARY_MSI=acad\acad.msi
SETUP_ICON=SetupRes\acad.ico

x86_IMAGE_PATH=x86
x64_IMAGE_PATH=x64
***************************************

CHANGE
x64_IMAGE_PATH=x64 to be: x64_IMAGE_PATH=x86

SAVE

RUN the SETUP AGAIN in XP COMPATIBLE MODE

VIOLA......!!!! it WORKED 10000% I DID THIS
