Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), some e-books about how to make one

Heloo everyone i what to make a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) for a pneumatic motor, but i cant find any documentation books, how to calculate one...
I want to make one with two cones side by side, i think without a belt it will be easier for me ..... dont get me wrong one documentation about belt ones can be useful too.
