Could not open .prt file. NX 8.0 version. below photo and part in prt format please help?

Are you sure that it's NX's .prt file? I'd say Pro/E and Creo might use .prt named files as well.

Try: File -> Utilities -> Part Clean-Up

This seems badly corrupted or something, I can't open it in any way.

Such never happened to me before.
