Does solid works have a partcopy futere like solid edge?
I need to have a Part ( Casting) copied into a new part, where i can do the face machining ( Final Part) And when changes are made to the casting it updates in the final part.

You can always create a new configuration, which is usually the easiest. Otherwise-->
Go into options>System Options> Feature manager and change solid bodies to "show"
Then go into the solid bodies folder and right click on the desired body. Choose insert into new part. This new part will have no feature history and by default will be set in context to the original part. As long as it remains incontext it will update when you update the part.
