Freezing VS. Turning Off Layers ?
This question is related to drawing HVAC, piping and plumbing.
What is the difference between freezing a layer and turning it off?
Is there a benefit in using one rather than the other?

When you turn layers off, you risk accidental selection when using the "all" selection option. When you freeze layers, "all" will not select objects that are on frozen layers.
