hello cad users,, i got another beginner question ,, with pic (
i had built this simple part because im trying to lean nx9 and i left the finally extrusion for the end which will be the bolt,, in solidworks i can but a circle in the center plane and extrude midplane and cut through everything ,, but in nx i had to extrude each time to get through all the objects am i missing something or is this how its done ,, thanx

In NX where you need Extrude feature just select the plane and draw one sketch like circle. Then choose finish sketch(ctrl+q) then comes to collapsed menu like BOOLEAN select subtract icon. Then procede pattern command to place holes in specified places like Rectangular Pattern for the plate circular cut.
